To operate some components of TabWare Online, you will need to install the client software linked to on this page. We deliver some of our software applications to you using a thin client technology named Citrix.

To use these you must download and install the Citrix ICA client. In addition, to use the extended features of TabWare Online (for Windows platforms only), you must download the TabWare extended client extensions. The downloads are available here:

  • Citrix Client - Download this package to install the Citrix Receiver (ICA client software) for your workstation.
  • TabWare Extensions - Download this package to install the TabWare extended client extensions that provide for capabilities such as document linking and local file saving & exporting. Note that these extensions are for Windows platforms only.

  • Reciver Installation Instructions - Download this document for instructions on how best to install the full Receiver package from Citrix.

  • GPO Files - Download this package for the MSI files and instructions necessary to deploy these components using Group Policy.

For Windows Users we require that you have the latest service packs and updates installed. The thin client technology that is used to deliver our product requires up to date operating system components. A few key windows update links are here:

  • Windows Update Site - This link will take you to Microsoft's Upgrade site. You can download operating system patches and service packs from the Product Updates section of this site. You should install all of the critical updates for your version of Windows. We also recommend that you upgrade your browser to the latest version (which can also be found on this site). Please check with your IS Department before applying any of these updates.
